For The People — the national nonprofit working with prosecutors to remedy excessive sentences — today announced its partnership with The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO). CEO provides immediate, effective, and comprehensive employment services exclusively to people recently released from incarceration. The two organizations are partnering to bring CEO’s Returning Citizens Stimulus (RCS) to individuals released from California prisons by prosecutors, an innovation known as Prosecutor-Initiated Resentencing.
