Teresa leads strategic partnerships for Blue Meridian’s innovations efforts, working cross functionally and on institutional collaborations that support capital raising and funding, engage key stakeholders, and allow the testing of market-building strategies.
Teresa joined the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation (EMCF) in 2010 and transitioned to Blue Meridian in 2019. As a Director on Blue Meridian’s Portfolio Strategy & Management team, Teresa served as a lead touchpoint for relationships with select investees, including providing guidance during the development and execution of strategic plans, with a focus on The Studio @ Blue Meridian. During her tenure at the Clark Foundation, she provided strategic council to EMCF grantees during business planning and throughout the implementation of their growth and evaluation plans. Before joining EMCF, Teresa was director of operations for Columbia University’s International Center for AIDS Care and Treatment Programs (ICAP), overseeing projects in 14 countries. Previously she worked at the international development and humanitarian aid organization, CHF International, as a senior program officer for the Africa region and as deputy country director for its capacity-building program in Kenya. Teresa has held various other positions in the private and public sectors and proudly served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in El Salvador.
Teresa graduated from Hofstra University and earned a master’s degree in international economics and finance from Brandeis University International Business School.
