As part of the Investor Relations team, Shamsa works to foster relationships with our General and Impact Partners, cultivate a dynamic and engaging learning environment for Blue Meridian’s Partner group, and engage prospective investors in support of Blue Meridian’s mission. In particular, Shamsa supports partner engagement strategies and operations to promote bespoke, impactful touchpoints and convenings for the Partner community.
Before joining Blue Meridian, Shamsa served as Program Manager at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) where she supported the design and execution of the CGI Annual Meeting, which convenes leaders across philanthropy and social impact around economic inclusion, climate resilience, humanitarian response, and other pressing global challenges. Shamsa also designed and supported smaller year-round events and served as the relationship lead for several partners. Before this role, Shamsa supported the launch of the inaugural Systems Week virtual conference hosted by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and the Centre for Knowledge Equity.
Shamsa holds a Master of Science in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Ethnicity, Race, and Migration from Yale University.
