Divya contributes to Blue Meridian’s investee selection process, supports individual investee relationships, including developing scaling plans, and helps assess investee and portfolio-wide performance. Working closely with Managing Directors, she also collaborates on innovative initiatives to expand Blue Meridian’s work, with a focus on Nationwide Solutions.
Divya was previously a Senior Program Manager at the Washington Housing Conservancy (WHC), a DC-region non-profit focused on preserving affordable housing and promoting economic mobility for moderate to low-income renters. In this role, she led social impact strategy and data and public policy analysis, among other workstreams, and also managed the organization’s human capacity and wealth strategy, which focused on putting WHC’s economic mobility aspirations in motion. Earlier, she worked for the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF), a transatlantic think-tank headquartered in Washington, DC. Her work has included building civic capacity in six cities across Europe and the US through the Vibrant Neighborhoods Forum as well as coordinating the Young Transatlantic Innovation Leaders Initiative (YTILI) Fellowship, in partnership with the US Department of State, to help young European business and social entrepreneurs grow their ventures and gain mentorship and expertise in the US.
Divya has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Davidson College and a master’s degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design with a concentration in housing, community, and economic development.
