“Twelve justice reform organizations will receive more than $2 million in grants from the Michigan Justice Fund toward an effort to improve inequities in Michigan’s criminal justice system, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan announced Thursday.
Founded in 2020 as a way to bolster groups working to further equitable justice policy and assist those affected by the criminal justice system, the Michigan Justice Fund collaborated with 14 funders to dole out more than $2.27 million to 12 national and local organizations.”
